London Barndance: COVID-19 admission rules

Updated 4/1/2022

January 2022

Due to the very large number of Covid-19 cases in London this month there are extra requirements. Everyone needs to be both vaccinated and tested:

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Entry to Venues and Events) (England) Regulations 2021

This Statutory Instrument requires us to check that all members of the audience have a valid NHS Covid Pass or equivalent proof of vaccination, negative test, or exemption. See Regulation 4(1)(a) and 4(2) and also Schedule 1 paragraph 1(1)

What we will do

Our door-keepers will only allow in persons who meet one of these criteria:

A copy of sections 8, 9, and 10 of the Regulations will be available to the door-keepers for reference.

Communication to potential members of the audience

Record Keeping

We will keep a record of how many people attended each event. In accordance with the Regulation and the Data Protection Regulations we will not record the names of audience members (except where required to process advance bookings) nor will we record the form of pass, proof, or certificate shown by them.
