Fat Harry
We have three new bands and a new caller on our list this year, though all are familiar faces in other places and combinations. The Bluejay Mountain Band is a combination of the Jay Family Band playing with Rick Smith of Blue Mountain on fiddle. Fiddlin' Around is a new all-strings band formed by Brian Stone (Hoedown / Junction 24 and also the man who dances the Hopak while playing Fiddler on the Roof!). Fat Harrydraws members from other well-known bands, including Alison from Alterations on accordion and Mollie from Unicorn on fiddle. Bob Archer will be familiar to many on the English / American scene, and from Sidmouth Folk Festival and many other appearences.
Admission in 1998: £5.00 (£4.00 for LBC members and concessions) A special discount can be arranged for organised groups of ten or more people.
All events are on Fridays and start at 8pm.
The venue is Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regents Park Road, London NW1: Nearest Tube: Camden Town. Nearest BR: Camden Road
